Uganda Premier League: Second Round Fixtures for 2024/25 Season Released

Table of Content

The Uganda Premier League Secretariat has officially released the fixtures for the second round of the 2024/25 season, with matches set to commence on Tuesday, 11th February 2025.

Initially scheduled to resume in March 2025, the league’s restart has been brought forward following the postponement of the African Nations Championship (CHAN).

Matchday 15 will kick off with Wakiso Giants FC hosting SC Villa, while Vipers SC will face off against URA FC, both fixtures slated for 11th February.

On 12th February, three more fixtures will take place as Lugazi FC takes on Police FC, Maroons FC welcomes Soltilo Bright Stars FC, and Express FC battles BUL FC.

The matchday will conclude on Thursday, with Mbarara City FC traveling to Mbale to face Mbale Heroes FC. UPDF FC will host Kitara FC, and NEC FC will lock horns with KCCA FC in the highly anticipated Lugogo derby.

However, BUL FC and SC Villa are yet to confirm their home grounds for the second round. The agreement that allowed BUL FC to use Lugazi Stadium in Najjembe expired at the end of last year. Meanwhile, SC Villa’s home ground, Wankulukuku Stadium, is currently undergoing renovations in preparation for CHAN.

The 2024/25 Uganda Premier League season is set to conclude on Saturday, 24th May 2025.
