After a brief separation, they reconnected at St. Mary’s College Kisubi in 1988, forging an unbreakable bond. “We became great, great friends,” Gen. Kainerugaba said, highlighting Cedric’s exceptional talent as a sportsman, particularly in tennis.

A Patriot’s Legacy
Gen. Kainerugaba revealed that Cedric had visited him at his Entebbe home just days before his passing, sharing plans for his future and his desire to contribute to Uganda’s development through active involvement in politics. “Cedric was a patriot. He loved Uganda and was willing to sacrifice a lot for his country,” the CDF said, noting his friend’s remarkable leadership roles in the Patriotic League of Uganda and his bid for Kampala Central MP in 2021.

A Promise to Remember
